Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min attend an event for “Playful Kiss” in Japan

Actors Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min recently met with their Japanese fans at an event commemorating the broadcast of “Playful Kiss” in Japan.

On May 3rd, the actors met with about 6,000 fans in two different events held at Osaka’s Grand Cube Hall. Tickets for the two events sold out on the first day the tickets became available, and it’s largely being attributed to Kim Hyun Joong’s popularity.

The idol-turned-actor spoke candidly at the event, saying, “I was very worried about my fans after hearing the news about the earthquake in March. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t come in March, but I’m happy I get to see you all before the drama starts its broadcast.”

The two shared some behind-the-scenes stories from set, and showed their affection for their characters. Kim Hyun Joong also sang ‘Thanks‘ and ‘One More Time‘ at the event, giving his personal fans an extra treat at the event.

Today on 3rd May (Tues), 「Itazurana Kiss～Playful Kiss」Premium Talk & Live in OSAKA～ East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support Event～was held at Grand cube Osaka has successfully ended, where there was a total of around 5,400 people who had attended the event for both the afternoon and evening session.

Kim Hyun-joong attended the celebration of the release of the drama "Naughty Kiss" in Japan and met with the fans.

Along with Jeong So-min whom he was in the drama with, they met with 6,000 fans on the 3rd in Osaka at two times in a row.

Kim Hyun-joong's popularity in Japan was proved as the ticket bookings for this event was sold out in a day and tickets were even drawn to lucky winners. So many fans appeared at the Grand Cube Hall just to see him.

Along with a video of the opening of "Naughty Kiss", the event started and Kim Hyun-joongstarted off saying, "It was disappointing that I couldn't visit Japan more often in March but I am happy I could come and say hello before the drama was released".

Kim Hyun-joong and Jeong So-min spoke fluently about their affection for the drama and telling episodes and behind the scene stories.

When there was an announcement that there was going to be another event like this for those who didn't have the chance to come to this one, everyone in the audience yelled.

This event highlight was of course the quizzes by the Kim Hyun-joong and Jeong So-mincouple which the staff and the audience also took part in together, making special memories.

At a special stage on this day, Kim Hyun-joong sang "Thank you" and the "Naughty Kiss" OST "One More Time", thanking the fans and finishing the event warmly.
